Ceremonial Event Launched New Partnership
Hialeah, Florida, March 19, 2015 – Mayor Carlos Hernandez and the City Council of Hialeah, invited the community and its friends from the media to join them and Sedano’s Supermarkets during the grand logo unveiling of Sedano’s Court at Bucky Dent Gymnasium. The event took place last Friday, March 13 at Bucky Dent Park in Hialeah.
Top Sedano’s representatives joined Mayor Hernandez for the ceremonial event designed to kick off the new, three-year partnership between the City of Hialeah and Sedano’s Supermarkets; A partnership, which was announced earlier this year.
“We are excited about the partnership,” said Javier Herrán, Chief Marketing Officer for Sedano’s Supermarkets. “Giving back to the community has always been at the heart and soul of our family and culture, and we feel privileged to partner with the City of Hialeah.”
Sedano’s has become a Hialeah Prestige Partner and the Official Sponsor of the City of Hialeah’s Youth Basketball Program. As part of the partnership, Sedano’s Supermarkets will provide financial and in-kind support of citywide special events. This will include the resurfacing of the gymnasium floor at Bucky Dent Park.
“We are very proud of this partnership,” Mayor Carlos Hernandez said during the announcement.  “With Sedano’s support, we will have an improved basketball program for our city’s youth.”
The improvements in the gymnasium at Bucky Dent Park will begin in XXX of 2015.
